  • Shannon Hurley

    FOUNDER

    Shannon Hurley founded Shepherds Training College and has served in Uganda since 2006. He holds an MDiv and DMin degree in Expository Preaching from The Master’s Seminary, USA. He serves as an elder at Community Bible Church of Kubamitwe on the campus of SOS.

  • Mark Rutuna

    PRINCIPAL

    Mark Rutuna is the principal at Shepherds Training College and a frequent preacher at Community Bible Church of Kubamitwe. He holds an MDiv and DMin in Expository Preaching (prog.) from The Master’s Seminary, USA.

  • John Paul Stepanian

    DEPUTY PRINCIPAL

    John Paul Stepanian serves as the deputy principal at Shepherds Training College and an elder at Community Bible Church of Kubamitwe. He holds a BS in Biblical Studies-Educational Ministries from Multnomah University, USA, and an MDiv from Phoenix Seminary, USA.

  • Daniel Huffstutler

    DEAN OF ACADEMICS

    Daniel Huffstutler is the dean of academics and has previously served in pastoral and educational ministry in the USA and Kenya. He holds an MDiv from Bob Jones Seminary, USA, a ThM from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, USA, and a DEdMin in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, USA.

  • Mark Slone

    DEAN OF ADMINISTRATION

    Mark A. Slone is a lecturer at Shepherds Training College and has served as a lecturer at the West Baptist Theological College in Kiburara, Uganda. He holds a Master of Theology (ThM) with an emphasis on Pastoral Leadership and Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary, USA.

  • Kintu Edward

    DEAN OF STUDENTS

    Kintu Edward is the dean of students. He formerly served at Galiraaya Church of Uganda before coming to minister at SOS Ministries in 2006. He has an MA in Leadership and an MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, USA.

  • Johnny S. Kalonda

    Johnny Kalonda

    ASSISTANT DEAN OF ACADEMICS - DEGREE

    Johnny S. Kalonda is the assistant dean of academics for the degree program at Shepherds Training College. He holds a B.EE from Institut Supérieur the Technique Appliquée des Lubumbashi, D.R.Congo, a Bachelor of Theology, and MA in Biblical Studies - OT (prog.) from Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya.

  • Keith Waweru

    ASSISTANT DEAN OF ACADEMICS - CERTIFICATE

    Keith Waweru is the assistant dean of academics for the certificate program at Shepherds Training College. He formerly served as an academic dean and pastor in Nakuru, Kenya, before coming to STC. He holds a BA and an MA (prog.) in Theological Studies from Miami International Seminary, USA.

  • Madrama Peter

    RECRUITMENT OFFICER

    Madrama Peter serves as the recruitment officer and an assistant lecturer at Shepherds Training College. He is also an elder at Community Bible Church of Kubamitwe and manages church relations for STC. He holds a BTh from Uganda Baptist Seminary.

  • Fabrice Katembo

    LECTURER

    Fabrice S. Katembo is a lecturer at Shepherds Training College. He holds a Bachelor of Theology, an MA in Biblical Studies (OT), and a PhD in Theological Studies (World Christianity) from Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya.

  • Muketsi Martin

    LECTURER

    Muketsi Martin is a faculty member at Shepherds Training College. He teaches Basics of Computer Studies and Typing. He holds a BS in Information Technology from Kampala International University.

  • Kaunda Francis

    ADJUNCT LECTURER

    Kaunda Francis is an adjunct lecturer at a number of colleges including Shepherds Training College. He holds a BA in Bible from Central Africa Baptist University, Zambia, and an MA in Biblical Studies from Northland International University, USA.

  • Atwebembeire Rodgers

    ADJUNCT LECTURER

    Atwebembeire Rodgers is an adjunct lecturer at Shepherds Training College. He holds an MA in Organizational Leadership and Management from Uganda Christian University. He is a PhD candidate in Theology at North-West University, South Africa.

  • Kasule Jacob

    ADJUNCT LECTURER

    Kasule Jacob is an adjunct lecturer at Shepherds Training College. He holds an MTS from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, USA. He has trained pastors and church leaders for many years.

  • Mubiru John

    ADJUNCT LECTURER

    Mubiru John is an adjunct lecturer at Shepherds Training College. He holds an MDiv and a Master of Theology (prog.) from The Master's Seminary, USA.

  • Saidi Francis

    IN MEMORY

    Saidi Francis was an adjunct lecturer at Shepherds Training College, known for his theological depth and pastoral wisdom. He held a BA in Theology from Central Africa Baptist University and was pursuing an MA at African Christian University, Zambia. With 22 years in ministry, his life was marked by grace, conviction, and a commitment to nurturing others. He is deeply missed and honored.
